Don't water your plants for 48 hours prior to your move. Watering close to your move date can cause leaking, drainage, and makes plants heavier to move.

 

Consider placing smaller plants in an open top box to protect foliage and flowers.

 

You can also purchase plant sleeves from a local nursery or florist to further protect foliage.
